A man detained by Police outside an address in Gunville has been taken to hospital after becoming unwell.
Officers were called at 11:32 this morning (Wednesday) to reports of a disturbance outside an address on Alvington Manor View.
After a short pursuit, a young male was detained by Police after being located in a garden on the residential estate.
Island Echo is told that evidence bags were then taken into the garden.
It has been confirmed by Hampshire Constabulary that the detained individual has not been taken into custody as he presented as unwell.
He has been taken to St Mary’s Hospital, Newport as a result.
was he swallowing the evidence.. or trip and stab himself…or both ???
Maybe he was having a mental health episode, hence the disturbance? Why not wait for full details before jumping to conclusions?
