An Isle of Wight business that produces coastal-style interior furnishings has secured prime retail space in Southampton’s John Lewis store.
XVstripes will be taking over space on the shop’s homewares floor at West Quay for 1 week only from Monday 26th September.
As well as their dazzling blue and crisp white signature bedding collection, XVstripes will be showcasing their coastal-inspired cushion collection and interior accessories at the week-long event.
The independent business, based on Wheatsheaf Lane in Yarmouth, offers laid back, luxury pieces for the home, all of which is completely sustainable. Bedding, cushions, blankets and throws are all available to buy online or in store. Candles, wallpaper and bespoke pieces make up the rest of the collection.
Founder Izzey Hung says:
“We’re still a very young brand so to be given this opportunity is amazing. John Lewis & Partners has given us an incredible space in which we can not only display our signature pieces but really tell the story of XVstripes – a brand inspired by life on and off the water.”
“We are extremely proud to be working with John Lewis & Partners, as their values very much align with our own. We both put customer experience and exceptional quality at the heart of our business.”
Good move, but try to be realistic on pricing we are in a recession. If the prices are too high you could price yourself out of the market.
June, all you actually needed to say was congratulations to a young island business for taking their brand to a wider market.
Well done XV Stripes, it’s a great opportunity for you.
The bed is outside. Surely it’s an exterior, not an interior?
Is it because it’s as uncomfortable as sleeping outside?
