Forecasters are warning of heavy rain across the Isle of Wight tomorrow (Tuesday).
Spells of persistent rain will arrive early in the morning with up to 10mm of rainfall possible, according to IW Met Service.
Whilst this shouldn’t cause any major problems, a second spell will follow during the afternoon where localised heavy showers will arrive from the English Channel.
Locally there could be some torrential downpours developing, and whilst not everywhere will see these downpours, a further 20-30mm of rain could well accumulate over relatively small areas.
Flash flooding on the roads is possible, as well as elevated river levels leading to some over-spilling of river banks.
The yellow weather warning is in force from 05:00 until 22:00 on Tuesday 26th November.
A flood alert for the Isle of Wight coast has been issued by the Environment Agency.
