• Lee Marshall, 35, of Prince Street, Ryde – fail to provide specimen for analysis – 120 hours unpaid work, £500 fine, £85 costs, £200 surcharge, 18-month driving ban reduced by course.
• Thomas Mason, 29, of Staplers Road, Newport – theft from shops – community order with 9-month alcohol treatment, 90 hours unpaid work, £38.50 and £21.60 compensation.
• Liam Matthews, 23, of Spinnaker Close, Cowes – theft from shops and assault by beating – 3-month prison.
• Mark Condon, 49, of St Saviours Road, Totland Bay – drink driving – £850 fine, £85 costs, £340 surcharge, 18-month driving ban reduced by course.
• Joyce Wanjiru, 31, of Weeks Road, Ryde – drive without insurance, otherwise than in accordance with a licence – £500 fine, £85 costs, £200 surcharge, 6 points.
• Kelvin Parker, 33, of Mary Rose Avenue, Wootton Bridge – assault by beating – 2-month suspended prison sentence, £200 compensation.
• Martin O’Rourke, 36, of Alverstone Court, Apse Heath – send photograph or film of genitals to cause alarm, distress or humiliation – community order with 12-day rehabilitation, 100 hours unpaid work, £85 costs, £114 surcharge, 5-year notification requirement.
• Stanley Freibergs, 66, of Slade Road, Ryde – use threatening or abusive words or behaviour – 18-month conditional discharge, £85 costs, £26 surcharge.
• Matthew Dowsett, 50, of St Margarets Glade, Ventnor – fail to provide specimen for analysis, fail to give driver information, fail to co-operate with preliminary test – 3-month suspended prison sentence, 15-day rehabilitation, £300 fine, £450 costs, £120 surcharge, 3-year driving ban, driving record endorsed.
• Roy Finlay, 63, of Missenden Road, Winslow – fail to provide specimen for analysis, drive without due care and attention, use vehicle without insurance – found guilty – £1,100 fine, £650 costs, £440 surcharge, 2-year driving ban, driving record endorsed.
• Archford Banana, 40, of School Lane, Barton, Newport – use vehicle without insurance – found guilty – £350 fine, £85 costs, £140 surcharge, 6 points.
• Declan Leech, 30, of High Street, Shanklin – theft from a shop – 12-month conditional discharge, £47.90 compensation, £59 costs, £26 surcharge.
• Francisco Alverez, 50, of Partridge Road, Newport – exceed 40mph speed limit – £150 fine, £85 costs, £60 surcharge, 3 points.
• John Minto, 64, of Hunnyhill, Newport – use threatening or abusive words or behaviour – 12-month conditional discharge, £85 costs, £26 surcharge.
• Jordan Thomas, 40, of Albert Way, East Cowes – harassment without violence – community order with 10-day rehabilitation, £300 fine, £85 costs, £120 surcharge, restraining order until 2030.
• Andrew Dowling, 69, of Meadow View Close, Ryde – use vehicle without insurance – found guilty – £200 fine, £300 costs, £80 surcharge, 6-month disqualification, 6 points.
• Jordan Hughes, 23, of St Urians, Sandown – drive without due care and attention – £162 fine, £400 costs, £65 surcharge, 7 points.
• Amber Gagen, 25, of Green Street, Ryde – fail to comply with a community protection notice – £100 fine, £50 costs.
So, Amber Gagen has again failed to comply with a community protection notice. It appears that she continually fails these legal decisions and is a prolific offender. Perhaps it’s time to put her in prison.
The fearless trio are banned from being in each others company, however, standing back and thinking about it, this is a set up to fail. I really don’t know why the police and the courts continue to criminalise them for this.
Yes I know they are a pain in the arm, and they all need to grow up, but is this really the best way forward.
