Adam Thompson ???? Wasn’t it his ex or partner a while back who got done for similar?

So I you just drink and drive you get a 24 month driving ban if you do all of the above you get a 17 month driving ban makes sense.
Will be interested to see if the ‘female’ brandishing a bb gun and being found with a knife at Coppins bridge will receive jail for 12m, or, as it has no ‘man parts’ a suspended sentence only, if that, will be given.
IF so, I hope it is because she is not seen as a fit role model for any children it may have burdened us all with.
I am beginning to see a few familiar names cropping up on this page with quite regular monotony, yet they just keep on doing what they want with absolutely no fear of going down for a few weeks to save innocent people from getting beaten up or potentially killing pedestrians or other drivers. Maybe the defending solicitors know how to play the Magistrates with the excuses they trot out every week? Whatever the reasons, the Bench are not using all the powers they have, and it is time they did.
There are also some people who make sh1t up to get others convicted, managing to ‘pull the wool over the eyes’ of the authorities by making false statements and doctoring “evidence”.
I have a female next door neighbour like this, who has had me charged and up in court a couple of times…when she’s the actual perpetrator – people like this are all too common, and should be the ones that are convicted for wasting public resources and the time of the courts/police. Just saying
Too lenient… driving under influence of alcohol and/or drugs should be minimum 10 year ban. with fines starting at £1000.00… no insurance should have fines starting at £1000. Then maybe some people would think….
So many vehicles driving around for MONTHS with NO MOT’S, but does not seem to be a crime on the Island.
The Island is a funny place.
