Monday 13th November – Friday 17th November 2023
• Joseph Gibbons, 32, of Halberry Lane, Newport pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled drug of Class A – Cocaine. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £48 surcharge. • Tom Proctor, 32, of Collingwood Road, Shanklin pleaded guilty to drink driving (88). He was banned from driving for 22 months and made subject to 12-month community order with 80 hours of unpaid work. He was ordered to pay £85 costs with a £114 surcharge. • Tazmin French, 21, of George Street, Ryde pleaded guilty to 2 counts of criminal damage. She was ordered to pay £320 compensation. • Gayna Carter, 23, of Hales Street, Coventry was found guilty of assault by beating. She was made subject to an 18-month community order with 30 rehabilitaion days attached, fined £180 and ordered to pay £620 costs with a £114 surcharge. She was also made subject to a restraining order. • Harry Mitchell, 22, of St Johns Wood Road, Ryde pleaded guilty to drug driving (Cannabis) and possession of a controlled drug of Class B – cannabis. He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £48 surcharge. • Aaron Ford, 34, of Longhalves, Freshwater pleaded guilty to theft from a shop. He was ordered to pay £20 compensation £50 costs, a £16 surcharge and fined £40. • Liam Findlay, 34, of Sunset Close, Freshwater pleaded guilty to 3 counts of theft from a shop. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay £50 compensation and a £16 surcharge. • Leigh Canning, 39, of St Michaels Avenue, Ryde pleaded guilty to drink driving (47). He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £300 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £120 surcharge. • James Lay, 73, of Cockleton Lane, Cowes pleaded guilty to drink driving (42). He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £48 surcharge.
Single Justice Procedure
• Joshua Mucklow, of Staplers Road in Newport, pleaded guilty to speeding. He was fined £220 and handed 3 points on his licence. He was ordered to pay £90 costs with a £88 surcharge.
Aaron Ford and Liam Findlay stealing loads of alcohol and meat from Freshwater Sainsburys got off too lightly.
Hopefully they are banned from the store also.?
