Shanklin and Sandown’s Ladies’ Captain, Lorrie Hawkins and her Vice-Captain, Vicki Guildford, vied for honour in the annual Captain vs Vice Captain Greensomes Stableford on Tuesday (29th October).
At the end of a very enjoyable day, it was the Ladies’ Captain’s team who won overall and were awarded the salver.
Prizes were given for the best team scores, with Chrissy Gould and Bev Carroll topping the Captain’s team with 40 points and, on the Vice Captain’s side, the winning pair were Julie Miller and Gail Boyer with 43 points.
Connie Huntington took nearest the pin on the 9th for the Captain’s team, with Amanda Wade securing the prize for the Vice-Captain’s team.
