If this turns out to be the person responsible, then I hope everyone who has been shielding him will also be brought to the police station and charged.

LET JUSTICE BE DONE

This man clearly has no morals and deserves all he gets, A lengthy jail sentence is appropriate if he is convicted. If he has any assets then I hope that Becky’s family take a civil action for damages to strip him of all of his assets to pay for Becky’s ongoing care and her child’s future care. I am sure that crowd funding would support that one !!. He certainly has no regard at all for the law and these are the devastating consequences for Becky and her family. With ANPR cameras I am surprised that his lack of Insurance was not flagged up earlier – it is a simple and proven technology. Maybe in needs to be much more widely used on Britain’s Roads.
I hope Becky does recover and that her family get justice. I also hope that the BMW passenger is convicted if they withheld information or gave false information to the police .
I know the police were criticised over this incident, but they are worthy of , and deserve, our support, They need more funding and more of the public to stop turning a blind eye to crime and to give them good information. Crime thrives on the ” I won’t grass anyone up ” culture. Giving information about criminals to the police enables them to be more effective with the resources they have, and be in no doubt that no one benefits from crime in the long term, not even the criminals.
