Silverware was handed out at the Diverse Marine Stadium in Cowes yesterday evening (Tuesday) as the Isle of Wight’s league champions celebrated their successful campaigns.
The winners of all the Isle of Wight football leagues received their trophies from Jo Harwood during the annual presentation evening at the Diverse Marine Stadium (Westwood Park).
Whitecroft & Barton Sports collected the Harwoods Division 1 title after finishing 3 points clear of runners-up West Wight to secure a 3rd successive league championship.
W&B also lifted the Challenge Cup during an impressive campaign, although they were denied a second consecutive treble after suffering defeat to West Wight in the Memorial Cup final at Westwood Park.
Binstead & COB were crowned Division 2 champions, ending the season 5 points ahead of Sandown & Lake. It proved to be a remarkable year for the Ryde-based side, who completed a quadruple by also winning the Junior A Cup, Junior B Cup and Ryde & District Cup.

Brading Town Reserves finished 4 points ahead of Whitecroft & Barton Sports Reserves to take the Combination 1 title.

High Park A were champions of Combination 2, ending their season 4 points clear of nearest challengers West Wight A.

Sadly, it appears Ventnor – who were unable to complete their season – will not compete in Isle of Wight football in 2026/27.
Following the presentations, clubs attended the Isle of Wight League AGM, where High Park Reserves were denied permission to drop down into Combination 2.
The possibility of reducing the Island’s league structure from 4 divisions to 3 was also discussed, with the proposal now set to be considered ahead of the 2027/28 season.
