A crash involving a motorcycle – which has thrown the rider and their pillion to the ground – is causing significant delays in Lake this evening (Monday).
Emergency services are en-route to Lake Hill, where a road traffic collision is causing traffic tailbacks in both directions.
The incident happened at just before 19:20.
A male is laying injured in the middle of the road, with his pillion – also male – situated on the pavement.
UPDATE @ 19:32 – Lake Hill has been closed in both directions by Police.
Motorists are being diverted via Perowne Way until further notice.
Southern Vectis buses Route 2, 3 and 8 are on diversion.
