Islejump, the Isle of Wight’s newest attraction and the only indoor trampoline park, is to open its doors to the public for the first time tomorrow (Saturday).
The 10,000 sq ft attraction at Spithead Business Centre in Lake features 40 interconnecting trampolines, a foam pit, basketball hoops and a dedicated dodge ball area.
The park allows up to 50 people at a time to jump and even has adjacent indoor parking.
Islejump, which is open from 10:00 to 22:00 every day, is priced at £10 per person per hour with parties and exclusive hire available. A parent and toddler group will also be taking place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00-14:00.
Owner Kathryn Mallett said:
“Our ultimate goal is to bring back a long needed spark that the Island has been lacking.
“We want our customers to brace themselves for a completely unique experience. Islejump is suitable for children, adults, groups or parties – every single jumper should leave the park with a smile on their face, looking forward to a swift return”.
At a preview party tonight (Friday), Red Bull free runner, Ryan Doyle demonstrated the new equipment and spoke about how trampolines can bring freedom to those who want to explore and that the new innovative sport aids health and development.
All jumpers are required to sign a waiver at the iPad-powered waiver station, with free lockers available to store possessions and an on-site café serving food and drink throughout the day. The attraction is accessed from the east side of the building off Whitecross Lane.
Islejump opens at 10:00 tomorrow morning (19th December 2015). To book your place and for more information visit www.islejump.co.uk.
