It may only be November but the Isle of Wight saw its first dusting of snow yesterday (Tuesday).
The highest point on the Island, St Boniface Down in Ventnor, was turned white for a time when sleet turned to snow late last night.
Local weather forecasters IW Met Service did forecast the white stuff for high points in the South Wight – and they weren’t wrong!
