A number of timetabled services on Island Line have been cancelled due to staff shortages tonight (Tuesday).
South Western Railway say that a member of train crew is ‘unavailable’, resulting in fewer trains being able to run between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin.
A reduced service is expected to continue until the end of the day.
Services will run as follows:
- Trains will depart Ryde Pier Head at xx:49 only, starting from 16:49.
- Trains will depart Shanklin at xx:18 only, starting from 16:18.
For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
UPDATE WEDNESDAY – Services are running to timetable today.
