Lions Muay Thai – an internationally renowned gym – is coming to the Isle of Wight.
Home to World Champions and international fighters, Lions was established in Watford back in 2008 and has had gyms in mulitple locations including venues as far afield as Limoge, France.
Founded and instructed by Colin Lions, former ISKA World Champion and Pro European Champion, Colin has trained in excess of 13 World Champions in Muay Thai and Kickboxing with fighters competing across the UK, Europe and Asia.
Colin has been a Team England coach since 2018 and is a qualified Judge and Referee having officiated at the highest level in the sport.
The club will be opening its doors to students this month and will have the current IKF European Champion and Former WKO World Champion attending sessions, setting the intent for this club to become one of the leaders of combat sports on the Island.
Colin said of the new start :
“I’m excited to start this new project here on the Island. Lions has always been a community project and I’m wanting to bring that feel to the Island”

In the past Lions Muay Thai has raised close to £500,000 for charities and will seek to continue that here on the Isle of Wight.
Classes will start from 12 years plus and will be held at Ryde Academy with Junior sessions being added once the club is more established here.
