Anti-social behaviour at Los Altos Park in Sandown has led to intervention from a local councillor and Police. Nighttime patrols are being stepped up at the popular park following complaints. Ian Ward, Isle of Wight councillor for Sandown South, contacted Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary yesterday (Thursday). A resident said a group of youths were ‘shouting and screaming’, ‘lighting bonfires’ and ‘keeping her awake’ until the early hours of the morning. Cllr Ward said the woman who contacted him had previously reported anti-social behaviour around a month ago, which officers had also responded to. The former chairman of the Isle of Wight Council said he did not know what the cause of the anti-social behaviour was but thought school holidays may have been a contributing factor. Another Sandown resident also raised concerns about anti-social behaviour involving alcohol on the seafront. Cllr Ward added he had alerted the relevant multi-agency and thought the police do ‘the best they can with the resources they have’.

Should have voted Reform, too late now, still Labour are looking after the pensioners by taking their heating allowance to fund the flotsam.
Migrants don’t cause trouble like uneducated locals.

Now we know why Starmer wants to rejoin the EU. The grandees of Brussels have fined Hungary £200m plus £1m a day for refusing to accept immigrants.
Likely still far cheaper than accepting such as living standards and safety of your own people can’t be measured merely in cash terms

The ramblings of a total fool. Why do all of these Reform supporters not realise it was the fact that THEY believed their lies about Brexit that have made the immigration situation even worse!
Vote Brexit and tale control back of our borders…..how did that work out??
Since Brexit Dinghy Sales have gone through the roof.
Brexit wasn’t allowed to work because the Civil Service and Conservatives blocked it at every level.

Adult bench people are probably there role models no doubt.
I think the residents of Sandown should be more concerned with the anti-social behaviour caused by residents of Sandham House in Fort Street and the impact on decent law abiding people living in the vicinity. A closure order under the Crime and Policing Act would put a stop to it and send a clear message to housing associations to get their houses in order and prevent Sandown being turned into a ghetto.
