Around 200 people dressed in bikinis to onesies and everything in between took part in the Island tradition, which takes place in the sea off of Ventnor Esplanade every Boxing Day and has done for over 30 years.
Large crowds also gathered to watch the brave swimmers, who this year charged into the sea at the slightly later time of 13:00.
The event raises money for the People’s Approach to Cancer Help (PATCH).
Safety cover was provided by Sandown and Shanklin Independent Lifeboat and Ventnor Coastguard.
