UPDATED: Rush hour commuters travelling across the Solent are facing disruption this evening (Monday) as Hovertravel have suspended their cross-Solent service.
A technical issue with Solent Flyer means that the Ryde to Southsea route has ground to a halt.
Hovertravel have just 1 craft available to them at the moment as Island Flyer is undergoing major work in Southampton.
An update is expected from the operator at 18:15.
UPDATE @ 18:35 – Hovertravel have resumed an advertised timetable.
UPDATE @ 19:21 – Services have once again been suspended due to a technical issue with Solent Flyer – just an hour after the craft came back into operation.
An update is expected at 20:15.
UPDATE @ 20:28 – No further services will be run tonight, with the next update to be given at 05:45 tomorrow morning.
UPDATE @ 05:50 TUESDAY – Hovertravel have now returned to an advertised timetable.
