Island Line are running an hourly service this evening (Monday) due to a fault with one of the ageing trains.
Services between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin are expected to be disrupted for the remainder of today. It is unknown if the problem will persist and affect tomorrow’s timetable.
Trains are currently leaving Ryde Pier Head at XX:49 and leaving Shanklin at XX:18.
UPDATE TUESDAY – Island Line are continuing to run an hourly service today, it has been confirmed.

Lol
Lets hope neither of the two passengers are badly effected.
As usual government and council preach about eco policy. Then fail to invest in this transport system. Just keep pushing up parking costs
All the team on the Island Line deliver a first class service. Remember that these trains are now 81years old. However it does seem that since the demise of Stagecoach maintenance of the trains seems to take second place for South Western.
