UPDATED: Adverse weather on the Solent is once again causing disruption for Isle of Wight travel operators this morning (Thursday).
Hovertravel’s service remains suspended this morning as the conditions have been deemed too extreme for Island Flyer to run between Ryde and Southsea.
At the other end of the Solent, Wightlink have decided to cancel the 06:40 car ferry sailing from Lymington and the 07:50 from Yarmouth due to high winds.
Meanwhile, Wightlink’s Fishbourne to Portsmouth service is operating a revised timetable once again today due to a technical issue with Victoria of Wight.
UPDATE @ 07:15 – Wightlink have now also cancelled the 08:15 from Lynington and the 10:05 from Yarmouth.
UPDATE @ 11:05 – Wightlink have cancelled the 11:00 sailing from Lymington and the 11:05 and 12:05 sailings from Yarmouth.
UPDATE @ 12:16 – Hovertravel have now resumed a normal service with the first crossings at 12:15 from Ryde and 12:30 from Southsea.
