Firefighters have used a hose reel to extinguish a hay bale fire on the outskirts of Newport today (Wednesday).
1 appliance from Newport was mobilised to Betty Haunt Lane following reports of a hay bale well alight.
The wholesome crew worked swiftly to put out the fire and prevent any spread.
The charming Island children home from school are bored already. Think yourself lucky you do not live in areas with less locals, for it will be shops, cars and homes looted and burnt very soon in such areas of inner cities. Watch and learn then think next time there are appeals on TV for such.
