Island Roads will be deploying gritters across the Isle of Wight road network during the early hours of tomorrow morning (Friday).
Treatment of major routes will commence at 04:00 as a precautionary measure.
The cold weather isn’t expected to last with temperatures set to hit an unusual high for the month of February next week.
Motorists are being advised to drive carefully and according to the road conditions.
