Gritters will be out and about across the Isle of Wight’s road network tonight (Wednesday) due to the expected low temperatures overnight.
Precautionary treatment of all routes will be commencing at 22:00, which will include gritting of the pedestrian bridge at Foxes Road in Newport.
The decision by Island Roads follows on from a gritting run last night.
