A 17-year-old girl that was arrested for kicking and biting Police officers last week is back in custody, this time on suspicion of burglary, using violence to secure entry and assaulting Police again.
As previously reported by Island Echo, a teenager was arrested on Tuesday following an incident at an address on Grafton Lane in Sandown. She was arrested on nearby Pier Street and taken into custody on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.
However, the teen is now back at Newport Police Station following 3 incidents at the same address yesterday (Wednesday).
Police have confirmed that they were called at 01:40 to reports of a door being damaged, with reports received later that morning of further damage to the door.
Then, at 17:28 yesterday evening, Police responded back to Sandown with reports that a window was being smashed.
A 17-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of burglary, criminal damage, using violence to secure entry and assaulting an emergency worker.
She remains in custody at this time.

why same place ,theres a story behind this case will come out i reckon.
Jesus! Lock this thing up! Or just slap the s$&t out of it!!
They will wait till she’s killed someone before doing that!
It is highly likely being ‘slap the s&&t out of” whilst growing up is what has led to her dysfunction. Does need locking up for her own and our safety.
This girls future doesn’t look.unless she gets major psychiatric help.
parents must be so proud
Bring back National Service – for both sexes.
Yes, I agree. When I was at school the teachers had zero control of the kids. Fighting all the time. Yet, in the evening, at army cadets, four X army chaps could control over 200 of the same boys that could not behave at school. Was never any fights or bullying at army cadets. Helped my self confidence a lot.
The youth of today would destroy our services. Give them an order and they’ll start crying and tell you I don’t have to.
These youngsters are a minority. The vast majority of our youth are fantastic young people some if whom join the services and a real example to all. You cannot just make blanket statements about groups of people. I agree to some extent about national service and cadet services. I was in both
Careful you’ll get accused of all sorts- everyone knows there 55 genders and no such thing as male and female 😉
she needs wrapping in cotton wool, and pampering by social services.
Poor love, she is very troubled and needs help.
I think you’re right Bart. She needs a lot of help and a loving home.
Just put her down like the sick animal she is.
I suppose your comment doesn’t make you sick minded then?
Another waste of space claiming free handouts more than a workman is earning.Another one in a free home that a workman can’t afford to buy. This Island is getting full of low life like this and thousands of houses being built to put them in. I suppose another smacked wrist sentence which means nothing thanks to the do-gooders so she does the same again in a couple of weeks time, because of a hard luck story from who is defending her. It gets worse and worse every day. Any one who returns this with thumb downs obviously aren’t the ones being affected by such feral trash.
What handouts does a 17 year old qualify for that makes her income higher than a workman?
Surely its work person tsk tsk you will be cancelled for such language by the woke
pictures of her , we know whstcto keep an eye out for, dangerous girl
You are all so quick to judge , this young lady needs help , no matter what has made her like this , and the comment about parents must be so proud ! Really , this is a child reacting to something in life that has gone wrong . No matter if her parents / family taught her this behaviour she still needs help – so the rest of life is not ruined .
It’s down to her if her life is ruined
It just goes to show the mentality of people on here, someone that can see the Bigger picture gets voted down.
Anyone shouting lock her up, and calling her all sorts of names get’s a thumbs up.
She is just entering adulthood, and needs all the help she can get.
It’s the system that has let her down not her Parents, she is crying out for help and not getting it.
The poor love needs help not locking up, i pray she can get the help she needs.
And that she can with help from a guidance counselor, grow to be a loving and careing Adult.
17 year old obviously has major issues, but that is no excuse to act like an animal.
