BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions welcomed a number of guest panellists including Colin Boswell, Anneliese Dodds MP, Andrew Griffith MP and Isabel Oakeshott when the show visited the Isle of Wight last Friday.
The radio show set up shop at Freshwater Memorial Hall for the live broadcast, which was hosted by Chris Mason – the BBC’s new political editor.
Chair of the Country Land and Business Association and owner of The Garlic Farm, Colin Boswell, was joined on the panel by mainland MPs Anneliese Dodds and Andrew Griffith and journalist Isabel Oakeshott.
Others present at the event on the night included former Leader of Isle of Wight Council David Pugh (with his arm in plaster), Councillor Chris Jarman (Cabinet Member for Strategic Finance, Corporate Resources and Transformational Change) and former councillor Heather Humby MBE. Bob Seely MP made a brief appearance also.
The odd heckle, boos and cheers could be heard throughout the night for what was a sold-out event. The hall was packed to the rafters with not a spare seat in sight.

Yet I bet they all broke Covid rules.
