Island Roads have closed a footpath in Shanklin this afternoon (Thursday) due to a dangerous tree.
Chine Hollow, which runs from the Old Village to Rylestone Gardens, has been closed for a distance of 71 metres.
A tree has been identified as posing a risk to pedestrians walking past the entrance to Shanklin Chine.
The diversion is Church Road, Priory Road and Popham Road.
