Firefighters from Cowes and Newport are tackling a shed fire in Gurnard this afternoon (Friday).
Crews were called shortly after 15:00 to reports of smoke issuing from a shed at Gurnard Pines, off Cockleton Lane.
On arrival, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus began tackling the blaze using hose reels.
The fire is understood to have started in a fuse board within the shed.
Electrical engineers are also on scene to isolate the power supply to the building and support firefighting efforts.
