UPDATED: The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are responding to a call out at St Mary’s Hospital in Newport this morning (Tuesday).
3 appliances from stations at Newport, Ryde and East Cowes have all been mobilised to the scene, with the first appliance arriving at around 09:05.
The crews have been called to the rear of the hospital off Dodnor Lane.
UPDATE @ 09:30 – Resources are now being stood down from the incident, which is thought to be a false alarm.
