Renovation work has begun at Launderama in Ryde, with a pledge to reopen with faster, more efficient machines, after a devastating fire hit the laundrette earlier this year.
It was back in March that a small blaze broke out at the Marlborough Road commercial premises, which caused significant smoke and fire damage.
The owners say that the journey to date has been challenging, but they are working hard to bring a refreshed and better-than-ever offering.
Once complete, the new Launderama will have brand new machines for a faster, more efficient wash, with commercial and full-service wash options.
A spokesperson has said:
“We can’t wait to welcome you back once the transformation is complete.
“Thank you for your patience, support, and understanding. Your encouragement means the world to us”.
