The famous Red Arrows and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight are set to delight Isle of Wight Festival-goers when they fly past Seaclose Park later this week.
Like they have done for the last few years now, the Red Arrows will take to the skies above the festival site at around 18:00 on Friday (17th June). The display sits in between the main stage sets of Sigrid and Nile Rodgers & CHIC.
The RAF display team has become a regular attraction at the festival in recent years and their appearance on Friday is sure to be an enjoyable watch once more.
Often with their trademark Diamond Nine shape, the Red Arrows have been displaying since 1965 and by the beginning of 2022 had flown almost 5,000 displays in 57 countries.
It is also known that the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight team will also make an appearance above the Isle of Wight on Friday, although the time is yet to be confirmed.

That’s another horrendous waste of taxpayers money then.
It’s about time the festival was scrapped on the island it is unaffordable for locals, if they can afford to go perhaps it’s only because of the government handouts which is supposed to be to help out with the financial squeeze.
Most attendees are from the mainland so it only benefits the ferry companies anyway, so what’s the point of it other than to line a few pockets and cause lots of disruption?
Bet you’re good fun on a night out.
