FALL IN JSA CLAIMANTS AS SEASON BEGINS

145 more Islanders are back in work according to the latest Jobseekers Allowance (JSA) figures.

A total of 1,635 people were claiming the unemployment benefit on the Isle of Wight last month (March) compared to 1,780 in February.

Year-on-year 260 more Islanders are in work.

The fall in claimants comes as the tourism season begins.
