Wightlink are operating a revised timetable on their Yarmouth to Lymington route again today (Friday) due to an engine issue.
The announcement of a reduced service comes less than 24 hours after a previous engine fault was fixed by the company’s engineers. A number of sailings were cancelled throughout yesterday with things finally getting back on track shortly before 17:00.
Today’s disruption is the latest in a long list of events over the past 8 weeks, as highlighted by Island Echo last night.
Wightlink are running just 2 ferries on the West Wight route following an engine fire on board Wight Sky back in August.
Wightlink apologise for the disruption to your travel plans.
Today’s timetable is as follows:
| LYMINGTON | YARMOUTH |
| 10.00 | 11.05 |
| 12.00 | 13.05 |
| 14.00 | 15.05 |
| 16.00 | 17.05 |
| 18.00 | 19.00 |
| 20.05 | 21.10 |
