Hopefully no one badly injured but it’s an accident that was waiting to happen. Too many drivers whizzing about especially in Beatrice Avenue in the morning and afternoon school run. Seriously needs speed restrictions of 20mph from start of Beatrice Avenue at Victoria Grove end right through to the end where GKN is.Again hopefully drivers and occupants are o.k.
This incident was bottom of Victoria grove, not beatrice Avenue! POSSIBILY due to one person driving irresponsibly, so no real need for a blanket speed limit.
If you read my post it’s a follow on comment concerning Beatrice Avenue as well. If you live in this area and have children you would and should be concerned regarding traffic going too fast. 20 mph is not a blanket ban. 20 mph all over the island is but I never suggested this.
More bad driving on the I o w
Another predicable comment from Phil. I suppose that you are completely acquainted with the facts of what happened ? Have you got an unblemished driving record, in fact can you drive ? or are you just a sad individual trying to wind people up with your pointless, and predictable comment ?
I know who one of the drivers was, and he does tend to drive around the island like a maniac. Just because he has a “fast” car, doesn’t mean it has to be driven like a prat everywhere. Also, his car had bald tyres and I believe he was over the limit as well. So there’s a comment from someone who is actually acquainted with the facts 🙂
Well said Phil
Seems to be a lot bad driving today
Must be benefit day and there all racing to the cash point
Bill and Ben the flower pot men.
Or was it Phil and Ben it all looks the same to me?
Two in one day Garry Fry. That’s got to be a record even by your standards?
Phil Mccavity seems to have a very limited vocabulary. Same comment every time there is an accident reported.
With a name like Phil McCaviity (Fill my cavity) he is obviously on a wind up..
