An elderly woman has been rescued from the water at Yarmouth after falling from the sea wall early this morning (Monday).
Shortly before 07:40, His Majesty’s Coastguard and Yarmouth RNLI were mobilised to the area of the High Street, to the east of Yarmouth town, after reports were received that a female had fallen into the water.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service sent a first responder, a paramedic crew and an operational commander to the scene, with Police also attending.
Coastguard Rescue Officers from The Needles and Ventnor responded.
The casualty is now in the care of paramedics and has been taken to St Mary’s Hospital, Newport.

What was she doing on the wall?
Exactly. Stupid woman !
Perhaps ask if she was having mental health problems rather than be so vindictive – which consequently makes you look the stupid one!
