The driver of a car involving in a ‘hit and run’ collision in Ryde late last might (Tuesday) has been located by Police, who are continuing their investigations into the incident.
As first reported by Island Echo, Police and paramedics were called to St John’s Road at around 22:30 last night.

Police say that the vehicle was located a short while later in High Park Road, Elmfield. Subsequently, the driver of the vehicle returned to speak with officers.
Thankfully, the motorcyclist suffered only minor injuries in the collision.
No arrests have been made but enquiries continue.

Waited till he sobered up a bit and the smell of weed had gone. No way you can do that amount of damage to a scooter and not know something happened.
I will agree with the second part of your comment, your first part falls down on the drugs side of things. Let’s hope the moped rider makes a good recovery
Yeah because it takes a few hours for weed or alcohol to dissipate..he would need 24 hours.
Only needs to be below limit and the smell to go away. If had nothing to hide why run?
