Cowes RNLI lifeboat was launched last night (Friday) to sort out double-trouble in Osborne Bay.
1 of the incidents involved a RIB with a damaged propeller, carrying 7 people, many of them feeling the cold.
Because of the need to quickly warm them up, 6 of the occupants were quickly ferried by the lifeboat to Town Quay, Cowes. Then the lifeboat returned to the RIB to tow it to Cowes.
Quickly the lifeboat went out yet again to Osborne Bay, this time to help the yacht, carrying 2 people, which had suffered engine failure. It was towed to Shepards Marina.
The lifeboat eventually returned to station and was once again ready for service at 23:42.
