Prospective Year 11 students, adults wanting to re-skill or up-skill, and those simply interested in learning more about the Isle of Wight College are welcome at the college’s forthcoming Open Day on Saturday (1st February).
This is a perfect opportunity to explore options, speak with tutors, and see first hand the resources and facilities that the college has to offer.
This Saturday, Newport and Whippingham (CECAMM) campuses will be open to visitors.
Highlights include:
- Immersive Healthcare Training: Experience new cutting-edge virtual reality rooms at Newport Campus, simulating real-world medical scenarios for future paramedics and nurses.
- Engineering Excellence: Explore CECAMM’s advanced facilities, including a brand-new extension powered by the South Coast Institute of Technology.
New Courses for 2025:
- T Level in Marketing
- Level 3 Criminology
- Forensic Science, Craft Engineering, GCSE Biology and more
Skill up leisure courses for adults:
From carpentry and photography to green plumbing and car maintenance, adults can explore hands-on workshops to grow their skills.
There will be a chance to meet tutors, tour the outstanding facilities, and unlock your potential.

Only problem is since Labour’s last budget
