Detectives on the Isle of Wight are appealing for information following another burglary, this time at a property in Winford near Apse Heath.
Some time between 13:30 and 23:15 on Monday (28th December) the offender/s forced their way through a window at the back of an address on Forest Road, Winford. Once inside they searched the home and took electrical items and cash.
The property backs on to a public footpath and Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen anyone in the area at the time to come forward.
Police are also urging residents to always ensure windows and doors are kept locked and to report any suspicious activity to the Police immediately. It follows a number of burglaries on the Island in recent weeks, as previously reported by Island Echo.
