Motorists in Sandown are experiencing delays following a minor 2 vehicle collision on the Broadway this morning (Tuesday).
It’s understood that 2 cars have collided near to The Height’s leisure centre. Traffic on the Broadway is heavy and slow in both directions as a result of the incident with queues tailing back as far as Tesco on Lake Hill.
No emergency services are said to be at the scene at present and no one is thought to have been injured in the incident.
It comes as motorists heading into and out of Lake have been hit with delays due to Southern Water repair works – with some drivers reporting delays of up to 30 minutes between Apse Heath and Lake Morrisons.
UPDATE – The incident has now been cleared.
If the Council Planning Department keep passing plans for new houses, the amount of traffic we will have on the roads, this will be normal. NO THANKS!
