Emergency services have called to a road traffic collision on School Green Road in Freshwater this morning (Monday).
The incident in the town centre has occurred between Dall Square and Avenue Road with traffic building in both directions.
Southern Vectis route 7 and 12 busses cannot serve Hooke Hill, School Green Road and Tennyson Road.
UPDATE @ 10:37 – Police are in attendance alongside an Ambulance crew and Enhanced Care Paramedic from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
UPDATE @ 11:09 – It has been confirmed that a blue Ford Focus has collided head-on into a telegraph pole.
No serious injuries have been reported and the road is to be reopened in due course.
