Hope the motorcyclist is ok
Hope they make a good and swift recovery. That road needs its speed limit looked at , along with briddlesford road. Too many accident.
No one takes any notice of speed limits on the island anymore..
Doesn’t sound good for the motorcyclist at all. This report does not say the motorcyclist was taken by air ambulance to the mainland or conveyed to St Mary’s by ambulance.
Where in the right up does it mention speed people just assume speed was involved because there’s a motorbike accident
Speed, not speeding. Lower speed limit ( assuming drivers stick to it ) , Lower chance of serious / fatal accident.
Had a car and a caravan overtake the police sign in this same spot almost hitting me this morning. Swerving right in the oncoming lane. Stupid people on the road are the problem not speed limits. The amount of times people pulling out onto the road right in front of a car going 50-60 is all too common on this.
