UPDATED: A crash on the main road outside St Mary’s Hospital is causing travel delays between Newport and Cowes this morning (Wednesday).
Police are in attendance on Parkhurst Road where traffic has been brought down to a single lane as a result of a collision involving at least 2 vehicles.
Island Echo understands a Land Rover 4×4 has collided with a Citroen C1. A third vehicle may also be involved.
Southern Vectis are warning passengers that their Route 1 buses may be delayed.
UPDATE @ 09:50 – The crash scene has now been cleared and traffic has returned to normal levels.
