Police and paramedics are attending a road traffic collision on St Mary’s Roundabout in Newport this afternoon (Monday).
The incident has taken place on the Dodnor side of the busy roundabout, which has been partially closed by Police.
Island Echo readers are reporting that a person is laid injured on the floor.
Traffic is heavy in all directions and is backing up onto Medina Way, Parkhurst Road and Forest Road.
UPDATE @ 15:06 – It has been confirmed to Island Echo that a cyclist has suffered minor injuries following a collision with a Peugeot 208.
Police were called to the scene at 14:17.
The crash is now being cleared.
UPDATE @ 15:25 – The incident has now been cleared and traffic is flowing once again.
