Concerns are growing for the welfare of 54-year-old Julie Gisborn from Ventnor, who hasn’t been in touch with family or friends since Sunday.
Julie was last seen on Ventnor High Street last Thursday afternoon (14th Jul)y and her last text message contact was on Sunday (17th July). She has not been seen or heard from since.
Police say that Julie’s disappearance is very out of character and that they are concerned for her welfare.
Julie is described as white, 5ft 4ins tall with brown hair usually in a ponytail. It’s unknown what she is wearing but Island Echo is told that she usually wears a white baseball cap.
The 54-year-old is known to often walk along the sea wall between Ventnor and Bonchurch.
Anyone who has seen Julie is asked to get in contact with the Police immediately by calling 999.

UPDATE THURSDAY – Julie Gisborn was located safe, but in a confused state, in Ventnor last night.
The search has now been stood down.





























































































When I used to do that daily walk we always had a chat. Lovely Lady. I do hope she is soon found and is ok.
