A weekend of pool and darts is set to take place at The Town Club in Ryde to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support next week, with competitions running on Saturday 31st January and Sunday 1st February.
The event will see matches in both darts and pool starting from 12:00 on each day. Darts will be overseen by Paul Davies, while Todd Barney will run the pool side of the weekend.
Players are being encouraged to take part in either or both days, with a pay-what-you-can entry system in place. A suggested donation of £25 per player has been set, with proceeds going to Macmillan. Prizes will be awarded, but the majority of funds raised will support the cancer charity.
Extra competitions will include Killer Pool and Last Man Standing, both carrying a small additional entry fee and prize opportunities.
There will also be a raffle and a football card to help boost fundraising. Prize donations are welcomed from the community.
