Things will be turning colder across the Isle of Wight over the next 10 days with the potential for some wintry spells, according to local forecasters IW Met Service.
The new week will start off fairly mild and cloudy with sunny spells at times, accompanied by highs of around 10c on Monday and Tuesday.
Islanders can expect the mild weather to move away on Wednesday with some rain and gusty winds expected. As night draws in the temperatures will start to drop away with some wintry spells possible as rain moves towards the Island. This could lead to some hill snow in places.
Thursday will be a chilly but sunny day with temperatures peaking at just 4c or 5c, but feeling closer to 0c.
It’s all change again on Friday with some heavy outbreaks of rain possible with milder temperatures across the Isle of Wight touching 7c or there abouts.
Next weekend could once again turn chilly, but, for the moment at least, there is no signs of an arctic blast…
