COASTGUARD TEAMS AND POLICE RESPOND TO CULVER CLIFF

2 Coastguard Rescue Teams and Police have responded to Culver Cliff this afternoon (Sunday), but the shout has quickly been brought to a close.

Fears for the welfare of an individual were raised at around 15:30, prompting the mobilisation of Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Team and Ventnor Coastguard Rescue, as well as a number of Police units. It’s understood Bembridge RNLI were also been brought to immediate readiness.

However, it has been quickly established that no individual is at risk at Culver Down resulting in all resources being stood down.
