Residents at Orchard House Care Home recently enjoyed a day out in the home’s brand new minibus, with visits to Costa Coffee and the popular Bear Café at Honor & Jeffrey Garden Centre on the Isle of Wight.
The outing was especially enjoyed by coffee lovers, with the Italian style coffee proving a firm favourite. Everyone appreciated the relaxed atmosphere, good company and the chance to get out and about together.
The trip also highlighted the difference the new minibus is already making, offering greater comfort, independence and freedom for residents to enjoy meaningful experiences within the local community.
An Orchard House spokesperson has said:
