A cannabis cultivation was discovered in the village of St Helens this morning (Monday).
Officers from the Neighbourhood Patrol Team based out of Ryde carried out a drugs warrant at an address and discovered the Class B drug being grown.
2 further addresses were searched also.
Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that 2 people have been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class B drug.
This is the latest incident in a recent crackdown on criminal activity.

What a load of rubbish….. Too many people looking to make money from this stuff. Kids openly smokin it in public. Hell they should be concentrating on doing well at school so they can hopefully make something of their life and not just hanging around in parks smokin puff
If the government lowered the retirement age, employment opportunities would open for the next generation…win win for all. Interestingly. The law seems to be wavered/ignored in places like Brixton, London with cannabis etc.WHY? Law of the land…don’t make me laugh!
Growing such is easy tax free money, and if a teacher grows such in their garage, you know that there is little hope for the morals of children now. Ryde children are lost with such influences from those they should be respecting now.
Shows though just how lucrative growing is for someone to risk a well paid job, knowing if caught they will never be trusted again in such a position.

But then, what’s the difference with people brewing their own beer? They do a very similar job except one causes a lot of violence and damage and the government spin a good tax earning from it while the other keeps the local pizza hut trading and keeps Netflix busy.

Yet they say in the UK there is not enough medical research to allow it here. So they are either telling fibs by calling it medicinal or its true it does help certain health conditions.
While its banned the above makes huge profits and look who owns and has shares in these companies.
If it was not banned then most kids would not touch it because then its uncool.
Who cares about plants?? The police needs to sort the corruption and major crimes first on this island and stop picking on the easy targets. Would help if the police knew their jobs but they dont
