UPDATE – It has been confirmed that Kieran Thompson has now been located and returned to prison.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has issued a wanted appeal for Kieran Thompson, who has strong connections to the Isle of Wight having been raised in Ryde.
Thompson, 27, is wanted on recall to prison after breaching the conditions of his license.
He is now living in Ipswich but has links to Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and Dorset.
Thompson was jailed back in 2021 for 3-and-a-half years following a knife point robbery on St John’s Hill, Ryde.
The 27-year-old is currently believed to be in the Bournemouth area.
He is described as white, about 6ft tall with short dark hair. He was last seen wearing dark blue Nike jumper, black Nike tracksuit bottoms and dark Nike trainers.
A spokesperson for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has said:
“If you see Thompson or have information about his whereabouts, please do not approach him.
“Instead call 999 quoting reference 44230160917.”

Problem here was he only got 3 and a half years for knife crime make it a life sentence

Tax payers will be paying for him regardless of where he’s living. If it’s a choice between him threatening me with a knife when I’m walking home to my family after a night out, or some other no doubt drug related crime, or if you’d prefer, being intoxicated/stupid behind the wheel of an uninsured car and mowing down one of my kids, friends or family, then I choose paying for him to be locked up thanks.
We send £millions in arms to Ukraine. Surely we can pay for a few rounds of ammo for this one? Sorted.

When I went to school 2021 plus three and a half made 2024 plus (nearly 2025) so why was he permitted out on any kind of licence for a knife crime in 2023?
