Local networker Lyn Blackledge’s son will be flying in from the other side of the world to help host the brand new concept, which is set to educate and inspire other entrepreneurs through a very affordable business conference called Make It.
21 years on from the moment Lyn first found herself defending and nurturing her son’s entrepreneurial spirit at his London school, she is now very proud business partners with both him and her other son Toby, mentoring and supporting over 60 businesses around the world.
The important decision Lyn (pictured right) made to nurture rather than quash Tristan’s entrepreneurial spirit all those years ago has led to a great partnership, that is now offering super affordable education from three different continents.
The host of keynote speakers organised for this event certainly is impressive and broad ranging. From award winning Island based eco clothing brand Rapanui, to Ian Jenkins of the Isle of Wight Chamber Of Commerce.
With other notable local business people having a big global impact include Laura Husson, Dale Howarth (pictured above) and Dee Becker. They have also pulled in international keynote speakers such as accredited author and speaker Kerrie Phipps and one of the UKs biggest Twitter authorities Mark Shaw, who is responsible for the fastest growing social community movement #TagTribes.
This is a full day event 08:30 – 17:00 hosted at Cowes Yacht Haven with 8 confirmed keynotes, lunch and refreshments.
